yep you should be able to squid with that for the reel you could look at a 4000 size reel such as a sedona do you use the baitrunner feature? if you do you could get a daiwa regal btr which is ok okuma are by far the best value for money reels Around ( i reckon) but many people dont like em my mate caught 13 blue groper several over 30kg and caught a 18kg sambo when i went with him the other day on a okuma eclipze e65 with 50lb braid and it hasnt let him down so there you go pretty good for a 130 buck reel. hope it helps cameron

raiders, i went out today to get some squid for bait i got out there and i got 9 squid 1 large one and a mini one all on cheap 2 buck jigs stinger

that is a nice cuttily where i live they get huge i once pulled on up on the bottom bouncer it was like 10kg the best bit of bait ever the old cuttlefish good one stinger
