All this burley talking is getting me excited. Is it worth buying a mincer to make good burley? If so, whats a reasonable price for one? Should i look out for anything in particular?

A few questions: 1. about the 45 degrees. once ive located the spot (1cm above the eye annd 1cm backwards towards the body) to spike, do i push down 45 degrees towards the body of the fish? which direction? 2. how do i bleed the fish properly? what are the steps? im a complete newbie! 3. why do you keep the fish out of an ice slurry? wouldnt that be good since it'll freeze the flesh real good? how about putting the fish in a bag and then in the slurry? 4. why keep the guts in until u get home?

Whats the fastest and most effective way to quickly kill your fish? Cant find anything definitive online. I've read: use a screw driver / knife and stab the brain cut their gills (how?) wack them on the head (isnt that a painful death? its not mma) put it in a ice slurry shoot it with a gun (WTF?) And next most importantly, HOW IS IT DONE EXACTLY?

Thanks for the pic! I've seen them at the store before. Much appreciated. As with leaders longer than 3 feet. I just thought some of the larger fish might not come closer to the surface as readily. So a longer leader might provide bait at a slightly lower depth for a hit. But then again, what do i know lol. thought i'd give it a try. Any thoughts?

I have never seen rubber stoppers at the tackle store before. And im having quite alot of difficulty finding an example online. What do these look like? I am familiar with plastic float stoppers. Where you have a small plastic tube and a wedge. Are these the same? Or similar? About the beads. How do they stay in place? What are they used for?

When fishing with a float i find that i'd like a long leader from the float to my hook below. I've read this can be achieved with using a thin plastic tube available at tackle stores. How do i use them? Are there any online resources?
