MATE, Great post, AND very very true haha.At least us fisho's wake up every morning HAPPY and not down about loosing out when we go for a fish. And spending the money on equipment and other litte things for fishing is a much better addiction than feeding them stupid machines, well i know my girlfriend would much rather me spend my money on fishing and have something to show for it,than come home empty handed and depressed...Great post

Hi Roberta, i lost my pinky and ring finger both of them about half way up. The hard thing is -its my left hand, and im left handed! Everything is hard to do. But im not going to let this stop me now, thank god for this bad weather im not loosing out on my fishin hehe. I am 25 years old and have been fishing since i was 5 years old. I would do anything to drop a line in BUT a couple of weeks ago, i chopped 2 fingers off due to my lawnmower . What can i say, i would do anything to have a fish. My lovely GIRLFRIEND lets me GO once a week and i havent had a chance now for 2 weeks. The doctors say i will be in this cast for another 2 weeks- NOT HAPPY AT ALL. To tell the truth, loosing the fingers doesnt bother me, but not getting too do the thing i love the most breaks my heart. Its been 2 long weekends, and all i can do is watch DVD'S on fishing and wish i was out there flickin lures. TIGHT LINES ALL RAIDERS

Hello all. Went land based fishing at Shellharbour this morning. Beautiful morning with a lovely sea breeze, perfect fishing conditions. So i decided to flick some 20-50gm chrome lures and also some pencil poppers off the rocks. Got there at around 6am, just as the gates were opening, and tried a couple of different locations with no success whatsoever!!!! I was even covering good distance with lures when casting at around 80-100m. Just wondering if anyone has had any success down there recently with lures????? Cheers. Tight lines.

Hey mate, I had a stessco rv420 catcher.I got it brand new about 7yrs ago for $13,000. they are great boats and last forever.I sold it 2yrs ago due to becoming a father. i have pics if yr interested too see, and if you want too know more about the boat PM me. cheers.

Hello raiders, I was just wondering if anyone has fished the shell harbour/wollongong area etc, with lures off the rocks & beach. Im hoping to go down that way soon. My main aim is to catch salmon, jewies and tailor using surface lures along with chromies and a few flick baits. Just wondering if anyone had any recent success in the area? Cheers! Tight Lines.
