  1. weathers crap here on the central coast, all the relo,s gone home now so might throw the boat (and raincoats) in tomoz for a flatty bash, anyone been haven any luck?

  5. i put mine in about 3 metres of water, got about 3.5 to 4 metres of rope on them, plus the net of course.

    Coral Trout

    a mate just got back from swainse reef? at least thats were i think he went, stayen on a mothership out there for 7 days, he gave me fillets of coral trout and red emperor, never tried either b4 and cooked up the trout latnite, just kept it simple with salt and lemon and OMG it was bloody beautiful.

    Yamaha Trim

    thats funny , my 115hp yammy trim switch is playen up also, me mates a marine mechanic and reckons its pretty common, he putting a new switch in this week for me,

  10. must be on everywere else except lake macquarie? had pots out all night and me baits didnt even get touched, had whole mullet and tins of cat food as bait. i did get a huge starfish and a fantail leather jacket and a 29cm snapper stuck in me nets but.
  11. any colour will work, its more the technique and whether they are there or not, i dont think the colour matters to much at all.
  12. we smash the flattys in lake mac on soft plastics mate, live poddies are definetly worth it if you can catch em.

  16. yer, got 2 spools can i just sit 1 on the ground and wind it back onto the other 1?
  17. is there a trick to knowing how much backing line to put on when spooling backing line on b4 the braid? or do you just guess like i always have been? i read somewere about useing the spair spool and putting braid on 1st then backing and then just reversing this back onto the other spool, which is a gr8 idea and would get it perfect except my stradic spool wont fit on any of my other reels to allow me to wind it back on.
