me n the went out again 2day bout 6,30 and proceded to get a flatty from almost every spot we stoped at, squidgey technicolour yawn done most of the damage. mmmm battered fillets!!

me n the went for a fish yesty in the drizzlen rain, tried bait without much sucess then went back to me plastics and we managed to scrounge up a feed of flattys, had to work hard for em but, im guessing to much fresh water from all the rain may have shut them down a tad .

there out there mate, a mate of mine got a cobia in the lake the other night, on a friggen prawn i got these flattys on plastics in the lake.

gday all, im after some tips on whiting please, was up swansea drop over today and there are huge elbow slapper whiting everywere under me boat (same as last 3 times ive been there) wouldnt touch what i had, peeled prawns, whitebait or plastics, so i need to know whats the best bait? (beachworms)? small hook? tiny sinker? light line? any info will be appreciated. also seen a guy catch a huge kingie at the drop over. couple of boats over from us guys were pullen in bream 1 after the other, duno what bait they were useing but all we got there was 1 flatty.

simple, little bit of olive oil in pan , sprinkle of salt n pepper, couple of minutes each side (they were thick fillets) a squeeze of lemon and yumo.

ill be trying that for sure, itl b hard to try somethen other than the awesome beer batter recipe i got off here a while ago, but ill try.
