Hi Guys, My old man is looking at getting a bigger fishing boat so we can get into some bigger fish. We have been looking at some Bertrams and Huntsmans in the 23-26 foot range. A lot of people we have spoken to moan about the legs being unreliable and costly to repair if you leave it on a mooring which is what we want to do. are there any common problems with stern drives? and is there anything that can be done to avoid them as shaft drive options are either too old (savage 26) or to expensive (bertram 28) Thanks Dart.

port stephens. we stay up the road from little beach boat ramp. a bit crowded. but it depends what boat u have

I live on the georges and you get the odd big fish but not much happens in there. My mates have walfs and pontoons and chuck over the pot in the drink and often get big muddies... nice bream..... i think the misses beat u..

Port stephens is the best. fishing surfing and all that stuff. we stay like 200 metres away in a house at little beach. go up there alot and great fun. Luck bugger

hey im going up in 2 weeks to. in the holidays. Go down to the marina at shoal bay and theres a few to choose from and you can book there. Or there is one other charter that goes from little beach. have fun.

I was surfing off cronulla last winter when a group of us surfers saw a fin we all looked at each other and it was about 20metres from us until a huge spray..... I s**t myself and i was on the sand in no time... never foget it
