What waters were you fishing? Nice catch!!! Its always a difficult choice on whether to eat the basterds or throw them back.

I dont know about the whale spot, but I can into a pair of whales and a pod of 30 dolphins (before I lost count). It was breath taking. Dolphins were under us, around us etc etc. We kept a good distance away from the whales. I know there are regulations, althought I wasnt sure as to the exact specifications. It was near bundeena.

I am fairly sure that they close at 1700 during the winter and at 1900 during the summer.

Hey guys, Just wondering where to go for best squiding spots. They they more in estuary or more in the open waters. I have heard that they lay around near kelp and seagrasses. I am armed with a Yo Zuri pink prawn, just havent yet made the effort to go out hunting for them. Any tips?

Guys, I am not to the blogging. I have been enjoying all your posts. Very informative I must say. I am however not new to fishing. Just wondering if I was fishing in a productive Ozzie Salmon patch that also produced a few kingies, how could I bait or rig up so that I would be more inclined to hook up Kingies as opposed to Salmon. Interested in your thoughs. regards.
