  5. where is your transducer located?
  6. We have been going weekdays lately as it has been busy on weekends. Been getting good numbers on fly and spin in the SW corner. The SE has been copping a flogging lately so we moved sides and were amazed at the quality of the fish we had been catching.most success comes from plastics though. Hope it helps. Cheers Rich
  7. Thank you for the links also. I have seen this before. My only problem is I no longer have a 4x4 so big walks it must be. Rich
  8. Shane IM with you mate. Anyone know where to get these from it would be appreciated. Cheers Rich

    Long toms

Cast poppers and walk the dog lures with a fast retrieve.Absolute fun but you lose alot of lures.Lake mac is great for this too. Rich
  10. Rods fine leader you dont need it to be long 2 to 4ft is fine for whiting bream and flatties. But use mono fluoro leader will sink the popper especially at that 35mm size. The other thing is tie a loop knot to the lure. And if it has a ring contected to the lure remove it. Cheers Rich
  11. Hooked Greg and i brought our Simms waders from OS.I know its better to keep our money here but to save more than half, my money is going there. As long as you usethe Simms measuring guide everything will be fine. Cheers Rich
  12. Durras is full of flathead at the moment. I was there on the weekend throwing surface lures around in ankle deep water for whiting scored a few with the better half catching a nice bream in ankle deep water. Didnt take any plastics with me as flathead are so easy to catch down there. You could catch them on a sinker with a slice of onion bag tied to it.They are that easy. Trust me it works. If your staying at North D start around the boat ramp. But get there early as it was standing room only last weekend. The beach front had some good gutters out the front of Lakesea caravan park dont know about North D as i didnt cross the entrance. Good luck Rich
  13. Macman If this has happened after doing your prop. You might have done your gearbox aswell or a seal of some sort. Better off taking it to a shop before heading out and doing more damage. Rich
  14. Theres the problem right there. Rules of the road ?????? We are talking about on the water. Since when do you drive on the left hand side heading downstream. ???????? Rich
  15. Stewy All good, What i find funny is that Greg and i have now found a new spot to fish as we did move abit to take photos and the current was ripping. So to all that sent Greg nasty PMs about where the photos were taken. Thanks for the new jewie spots LOL Honestly though no one and i mean no one owns the water or spots. Thats why the bream scene has gone down hill too many egos. Rich
  16. LOL wheres the photos of that ? Or do you want to keep the location secret LOL
  17. Dave The Certate comes in a high speed aswell. Rich
  18. Get the 3000 certate. Awesome set up. Rich
  19. FG knot from 3lb up . It is the best knot so far. And after learning it. It takes 3 minutes if that to tie. Rich
  20. Not really Humesy Browny still couldnt get one LOL But i think its all technic. And by all means it would not be something new.Its just Greg and myself seen the lures and were shown how to use them for other species and thought maybe they would work for the local jew population. Then went out numerous times to suss them out.And are now catching Jew everytime we go out except for two half ass occasions. To tell you the truth i am loving my fishing atm because i havent asked anyone for help we have both sussed them out. And to me that is fishing. Not continously sending Private messages and asking what lure , where at. and so on. Its the way or the world these days i suppose. Cheers Rich
  21. Grant Browny just evened it up for me if he wasn't there it would of been Greg 4 me 2 Thank god for browny I say Rich
