  7. a mate and i decided to go for a quick fish after work yesterday it had been a long day so was looking forward to putting my feet up and having a cold one got to the beach at about 630pm tide was low and there was no wind or waves mate bought some servo pilchards and squid so one squid and one pilchard goes out within 10 mins my mate hooks up on a fish then all of a sudden it feels like a snag mate was positive there was a fish on there so he waits it out, let a bit of line out and it was free winds it in and a decent size trevalley comes in, was just over 35cms fished for about another hour and then my rod goes off. pick it up and give it a good jerk and the thing spools my reel managed to turn it around and got it in after a few minutes first decent jew i have caught on servo pilchards and in a new spot stoked as stayed for another hour then called it a night photos below

  11. Buy some Polyester resin Fibreglass matting Catalyst Talc powder Sandpaper Bog Paint brushes Roller Clean the surface where the hole is and remove any loose bits Roughen up the area with the sandpaper so that the fibre glass will stick Bog up the hole so the hole is almost flush Tear the fibreglass into desired sizes Mix the resin with a bit of talc powder so that it give the resin a bit of strength Then add the catalyst to resin (IMPORTANT: The mixing ratio of catalyst to Polyester resin is between 1 and 4% of. resin volume. For example, 100mls of Polyester resin will require 1-4mls) Mix the resin thoroughly or it won’t set properly On an old piece of cardboard paint the resin onto the fibreglass matt (both sides) till it has soaked through. Then apply it to the desired spot Add multiple layers depending on the size of the hole Roll with the roller to get any air bubbles out and wait for it to dry Be sure to not do to many layers on the boat as it will fall off because of the weight when drying When it is dry sand the edges so that it is flush and won’t create unnecessary resistance when in the water Give it a coat of paint if you want
