  1. I was supossed to go back up to Blue Fish on Sun morn. Set the alarm for 4:30 but somehow turned the volume down as I put the clock back down .I awoke at 6:00 And throught stuff it I'm still going .So I grabed my gear that was all packed and ready to anyway. And headed for my local rock.Tryed a few spots burlying up with bread and some for bait as well.Nothing much there so I swiched to cungie.Fist flick and thump I'm on .Laned this little fella. Now thats not a bad start for the day I throught. Only to brick to casts later.I ended up getting 2 more undersized pigs. So I move spots again To try my luck with the blackies.2 hours latter and only 1 fish gave I it away .Got back home and rang my mates to apologize for the no show and to find out how they went. And they both ended up with the same as me

  6. G'day gang.My self and a couple of mates and I went up to North Head on Sun.Hit the rocks about 9.30am the water was looking a bit dodgy. But we thought we'd give it a go anyway. We were fifhing for pigs and blackies. But water was makeing it very hard to fish.We ended up with 1 pig and 1 blackie.I got bricked buy a nice pig. But after 2 hours the swell was picking up. We decided that discretion was the better part of valour(I'm The eternal coward)and got out before it got worse.
  7. Gday Kirkby!.I've fished it a couple of times.I can only back up what Roberta has said. All i can add is to fish the creek mouth on an outgoing tide.I picked up some nice trevers there earlyer this year. The brakewall can be worth a try as well.Oh and the Brunswick pub's not bad for a feed and
  8. G'day gang! Hit South Curly pool about 6am on Sun morning.Armed with my blackie gear and another heayer outfit.Started off with wole pillies on gang hooks for a tailor or somon. No luck there.SoI changed tactics . And sent out a pillie tail on a 2/0 hook.It lasted about 15 mins.A bit of a bump I lean back on the rod and I'm on .After short but spirited fight I landed a nice 34cm bream .Buy this time the sun was getting on to the water and it all went quiet. So I changed over to the blackie outfit for the run down tide.Tryed for an hour for 0. Had a chat to jewgaffer on the phone. What a gem he is .Not just a wealth of info but great bloke as wel l.Thanks for all the info Jewgaffer could'nt ues it all on the weekend but will keep it in the files
