G'day Gang Haveing some time up my sleave on Sun day. I grabed the blackfish gear and went down to South Curl Curl pool.So with a slow start.I ened up with two fish.One being my PB at 45cm .so with the tide dropeing and no more down I went home and for lunch and to watch the AFC and a bit of cricket.Now fershly water and fed I hit the rocks for an afternoon sesh . And mate were they touchy I through I was going to have to count to 100 before I struck.lost count of how many I missed.But I still come hpme with 4 more fish all around 35cm

G'day danfish! Mate might be better to try a bit farther down at Balls Head.Parking and toilets. You get all the usual suspects .Nice deep water in close. I fact the chanel marker on the westen point is the deepest spot in the harbour . Look for the foot track on the southern side and walk along till you find a spot.( last time I was there the track was a bit rough in spots but nothing bad. Just watch yur step)Should suit all requirements.

Well votes are in the the numbers countered.And result in the poll done buy the Manly daily last week about the proposed baning of fishing at Long Reef.ISSSS (drum roll please)80% said NO .It was the largest number of people to vote on any subject polled buy the Manly Daily .Out of the 4672 people that voted 3728 voted NO.Well done to all Raiders and other fishing sites.If we keep this up the right people might take notice

G'day gang jewgaffer has it pretty much down pat.The only thins I would add is.When you've got showers and it's overcast fish like bream bite alittle more freely .And on a safty point if you are fishing some where like the beach and you see lighting.Get the hell out of there.Long rods ,open spacees and lighting tend to go together in a most unfortunate way

Gday gang! Well went out on the stones Sun arvo to chase a few blackies.The swell was up a bit so did'nt stay long.But I still manadge 1 nice blackfish and heap of kelp before I desided that discretion was the better part of valor and went home.Was going to try again yesterday but the swell was too big. So I went down to Queenscliff lagoon to have a play with some plastics.Can't eat anything out of there but you can have some fun.As I did with 2 flaties aroud the 30cm mark

G'day gang Mate there's aheap of places around up your way.Try in the southern corner of Parlm Beach Usualy fires best during or after a big southly. Give it a go And bit of addvice on the seal NEAVER get between them and the water.They might look ungamely on land but can be very fast over a short disstance

For me it's going to be get my licence and a car then I can do more fishing and go to more placees. At 49yrs I must be the oldest learner driver in the country.

I should have explained my self I was after blackfish.Thats what mainly chase.Thats one of the resons I joined this site.Plenty of like minded people.After reading Roberta,s (Queen of the dark art)post on fishing for blackfish I just had to join

G,day gang! Whent to South Curl Curl pool Sun morn The water was as clear as tap water with allmost no wash .The wind was just starting to get up and it was bloody freezing.Are what the hell may as well give it a go.And yep you geused it second drift theres a down and I'm on .Endeed up with good fish 32cm-38cm in about 40mins .Lasted another 1/2 hour with only one or two more downs for 0. But cold for me so went home for a long hot shower and some beckfast.I either have'nt had time or had no luck for the past 4 weeks.So that made up for it all. They never cease amaze me!

Gday Gang! Try middel head or ancor up around the the blue police marker bouy in north harbor or you could try off the quarantine station good luck

G'day tentonner! Try Pickering Point at Seaforth.you can try off the pool or the rocks around to the left.Both bait and lures wil are worth a try.If you what to go Sat night I can show you.
