  1. Great to hear there are some kings on in the harbour- i too would be intersted to hear where you got them..
  2. Top work mate, congrats on busting the fin cherry. All these fin reports are getting me seriously excited!
  3. Top work mate, looking forward to seeing the pics.. If you do ending up coming down to syd. and the weather is ok this time, i would be dead keen to come out...
  4. Very impressive. Obviously a top day out.
  5. I was out yesterday (thurs) and the swell was pretty substantial. The plan was to hunt salmon around north head however in 4.2 metre tinny I decided discretion was the better part of valour and came back inside after a quick run through the heads. No luck with salmon or tailor inside the harbour, although managed a reasonable (34cm) bream at clifton. Good on your for braving it!!
  6. Nice one. I will be hitting the harbour tomorrow with a mate. I know what i will be targeting now!!

    Fuel Tank Issue

After i replied i thought maybe there is a single fuel line.. Must be a blockage in the tank which shouldnt be too hard to locate. If you have a plastic tank and it is a lack of air coming in you will probably see the walls of the tank become concave as you use fuel (mine does this when i forget to unscrew the breather valve) Good luck.

    Fuel Tank Issue

Maybe also check your fuel hose and connection points are air tight. If your you are sucking air through the fuel line or connections there will not be any pressure to pull the fuel through. The hose clamp is where i would start my search for a leak.
  9. I use a bloke called "Roys Mobile Marine". He will come to your place to do it, is honest, fairly priced and does not try and change/fix things that dont really need it. He always seems pretty busy too, which i suppose indicates he is in demand.

    Any 4wders Out There?

Rick, Great sounding truck mate, i had an 80 series for a while and loved it. I currently drive a 2001 GXL 3.4 litre petrol prado which is pretty much a stocker with the exception of a 2 inch TJM lift kit and some new 265/75/16 Goodyear MTRs. Have tirfor, general recovery gear and an ARB compressor for it. I do like a bit of a challenge while driving- but not real keen on panel damage etc.. Am keen to give the new tires a run in the bush soon and if someone is arranging a forum trip i would happily come along... I dont know many of the tracks up there, but there is some reasonable driving up the watagans and it is close enough for easy day trips.
  11. looking better than it was a couple of days ago... whats the call skipper?
  12. The forecast for sunday isnt looking wonderful, although the longer range stuff is sometimes not that accurate... Fingers crossed.

    Discrimination Law

I have read through the above and can not see why you believe this to be a case of racial discrimination? May I ask what reasons (or even better evidence..) you have to think it is racial discrimination? My suspician, and i say this very respectfully (and without any knowledge of you personally!) is the powers to be dont like you much. Usually in companies the people who are well liked do not get disciplined very often. You will probably find company policy allows for much discretion in the handing out of official warnings. But if you were only sent material and did not forward it on, deleted it etc then you have arguable grounds to overturn the warning. As other have said, the companies email protocols and policy would be a good starting point to that end. If you do have any evidence to suggest racial discrimination then I suggest you pursue it through the NSW Anti - Discimination Board or it's federal counterpart the Equal Opporunity Commission. Believe me that if you file an application/complaint, the company will take notice and the people handing out warnings will be noticed by their bosses. The staff at the Anti-Discrimination Board are helpful and should be able to assist you with any enquiries. http://www.lawlink.nsw.gov.au/adb (Please note their are reasonably short timeframes in which you can make a complaint, so do it quickly should you intend to.) Anyway, some light reading below: Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 No 48 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7 What constitutes discrimination on the ground of race (1) A person (the perpetrator) discriminates against another person (the aggrieved person) on the ground of race if, on the ground of the aggrieved person’s race or the race of a relative or associate of the aggrieved person, the perpetrator: (a) treats the aggrieved person less favourably than in the same circumstances, or in circumstances which are not materially different, the perpetrator treats or would treat a person of a different race or who has such a relative or associate of a different race, or

There were stacks of birds on the 2 big schools off north head on sat arvo.

    Sydney Salmon

I was on the harbour on sat arvo and the salmon were out in force. Had no luck casting sluggo's and metals at the schools or trolling around. A bloke flyfishing seemed to be doing ok. After a quiet troll south, headed about 1k offshore for a bottom bash. After loosing plenty of tackle to leather jackets, but a small metal on the bream rod and jigged about 10 metres down. After countless leather jackets on the small metal (and a few lures lost) had a big hit and scorching and seeming unstoppable run deep. Heading straight down, i called it for a king but eventually i managed to get it up high and the jumps revealed it to be a salmon. Ended up with three salmon between 50-60cm. Brilliant fun on the bream rod each taking at least a 10 minute fight to get to the boat. Finished a top day by trolling past a big seal playing just of south head.
  17. There have been some tailor, salmon, bonnies and even a stray king about trolling the syd harbour headlands, although i have noticed little surface action. When they are on, they seem to be in numbers, but i have found them a little patchy. Worth a crack for an hour or two but if no luck then try something else i reckon.
