I used to be able to eat seafood with no problems but ever since i got nipped by one on my finger I have become allergic to a lot of seafood. I have tried to eat prawns and crabs but will almost immediately get a rash on the back of my hands. It's sort of like the revenge of the crab.

Cheers for the tip. I found out recently that you have to pay a fee to park there on weekend but it is free parking on week days.

Hurt my foot playing footy. Hopefully the foot will come good by the sunday as I have another game. It's feeling much better today, so the game is looking good.

They sure do taste nice. Is there any land based spots in Sydney that consistently produce leather jackets? we normally buy ours from castle hills for around $7/kg.

Nice blue eye there. That red one looks like a rock cod not sure bout the other. Anyone know?

It can get confusing sometimes in the city with all the one way streets and traffic jams during peak can drive people nuts.

I go there for a walk during lunch on weekdays sometimes and it's full most of the time with older fisherman.

This is something totally off the topic. But here goes, I had salt and pepper squid on the weekend from this Malaysian place and it was really nice. Anyone here had that before?

Agreed. No pulse. I hooked a rather large octopus from the wharf once and it was dead weight all along until it got to the wharf. Thats when it used the suckers to hold onto the pylons and it took half an hour to bring it up because everytime i brought it up a little bit it would get hold of the pylon with its tentacles again.

Good stuff. It would have been hard to get the fish up onto the wharf. Top effort.

Money can't buy you happyness. Although Anasta is being paid good, I still don't think he will be feeling that great playing in a losing side every week. Getting belted on the field can affect his level of confidence in life off the field too.

Up the Doggies. I reckon O'Meley should learn from the mistakes of Braith Anasta, Charlie Tonga, Nate Myles and Chris Anderson and think twice about joining the chooks.

I used to catch plenty of mullet around the wharf next to the boat launch at como about 10 years ago, but I went there a few time last year and didn't see a single mullet. Have they died out along that stretch of the George's River? or have I just got there at the wrong time?

It's quite surprising that Bream can survive in such dirty water. I've seen them as far upstream as Campsie.

Although I'm not a Knights supporter I still wished that he could have played on forever. But the man's well being is more important than anything else. It's a very sad day for league.

I used to fish there years ago and the water looked really dirty. Is the water better these days?
