Hi all, Just wondering if anyone could suggest proven to produce/easy to access/land based spots in wollongong that i could try fish. im going there for a freinds wedding next weekend and will tyr to fit in a bit of fishing while im there. any help will be appreciated. cheers vic

Do carp get this big in Sydney? A carp of this size would no doubt put on a great fight on light gear.

I've had a small shark (around the meter mark) chase a bream i hooked all the way to the surface in the lane cove river last year.

could it be because harry's is in that area and the sharks are congregating there because the smell of hot dogs?

I've had a fish/eel drag my unattended rod into the water. The rod soon float back to the surface after the leader was bitten through.

I often see the fish jumping would it be that there r jewys chasing them? Do you guys think the shallow waters near there would have jewys?

has anyone fished underneathe the riverwood padstow railway bridge? what kind of fish do u catch there? i walked past and saw fish jumping. not sure what they were. is it worth my while to fish there?

could it be the slipperyness of banana skin if left unattended on the floor of the boat that they r outlawed from fishing trips?

One of the rings on my fishing telescopic rod came loose after the last trip on the hawkesbury, so I decided to superglue it back on. However, I've applied too much super glue and the overflow reached the retractable section of the rod, and now one section of the rod can not be retracted. If there any way I can dissolve the super glue so the rod works again? Any help will be much appreciated.

just saw the pic in a magazine recently. the mag said that the pic was mistakenly label as from the swan river but it was actually taken in the US.
