Nigel,
Another observation I made and forgot to mention was fuel tank size, mines 250ltr,assume yours same, big difference from the ext size down 165ltr for the 570.Mate can you tell us more about lifejacket laws down that way ahdnt heard it before.

Guys,
I found some original specs for my 595 sportscab and comparing the two I couldnt see one bit of difference between the 6.1 and mine on paper also a while back was at a ramp with a bloke in 580 trailblazer, apart from the obvious difference's inside the boats and slightly different cabin lengths, parked side by side they looked identical by eye.
Outwoodly it seems most likely the 580,595,610 to be one in the same hull, just badging changes, from the manufacturing side of things it doesnt seem logical to keep changing the physical sizes within similar boats over 4 to 5 year period, would also appear old 560 now 570 and old 640 now 660.
Just my thoughts,be interesting to hear the builders own comments.

Hi Nigel,
Mate, tried trimming out, still seems to want bury the nose, not allways, was talking to a bloke with a 660 and seemed to be his only complaint with his boat.

Hi All,
Been reading this post with interest as thinking of doing the same to my 595 sportscab, will be watching the progress very closely as it looks the goods!
Nigel,
Never had trouble with broaching but mine tends to want to bury it's nose in real slop, power out no worries but wondered if this was common on Trailcrafts or is it something I'm doing wrong?

I have a 3.2mtr clark tinnie for estuary and freshwater and 6.1 mtr trailcraft for outside/offshore,derive a great dealer of pleasure out of both depending on time of the year and bloody nice luxury to be able to chop and change and no hassle in anyway.

Mate, seen this before big time off Trawleys, one time couldnt even get a bait down at all,we had them flying into the boat was like the movie "The Birds",as it happens gave up and came back into to the hawksbury and nailed a 18kg Jew so that stopped our complaining in the end.
Cheers
