Livie
Any wierd stuff like that, I leave them alone, Theres waaaay too much crazy bugs out there that I know nothing about. Maybe they just sporned and are at there lowest condition. The winter trevs have always been fat and clear.
Alex
Hi mate, There is a type of parasite called kudoa thyrsites that can do this. It gets into the flesh but stays inactive untill the fish and flesh start to die. You don't knotice it when the fish is fresh, but when it dies this comes on pretty quick. I'm not sure if this is the case here cause i havn't heard of it with Trev's but for some reason i don't know, they say don't cold smoke then freeze the fish if you think it has it.
