netic
To find the PJ Fad with out a GPS would be possible if there are boats present at the fad, the fad itself would be nearly impossible to find as it is small and can only be seen when within 200 metres of it, but if there are boats present you will be able to find it. It lies around 7kms right in front of Manly Beach, so if you head out of North head on a diaganal you may find it, but i have had mates try and find it without a gps and searched for an hour without luck. You can pick up a handheld gps for under $200 these days, i recommend you grab one, it will ensure you find it.
