Penguin
Hit Botany Bay Monday 10am,was a wet morn but we were suckers for punishment.Tried 3rd runway 1st and within 10mins were into the Trevs, double, triple and quad hook ups, this went on for about an hour, all cought on floated prawns. went quite for about 10 mins then our bottom baits started to get hit, while our floaters remained untouched,Trevs again and plenty of em for the next 20 min, then nothing. A pod of dolphins appeared near our boat, and they cruised past, but we never got another Trev after that, but did catch a 116cm PJ shark. We then left, went under Capt Cook Bridge, lit our bbq and cooked some snags for lunch, then dried some of our clothes on it,and warmed ourselves.Only managed some small Bream while we were there,so over to the hot water outlet for zilch. Then we tried near the container terminal for half an hour got 3 more PJ's,103,104cm and 1 at 110cm,got the s*#ts with this so called it a day.Kept less than half the Trevs we got, and released all PJ's so they can annoy us next time. penguin Dolphins Andrew and Bill with 116cm PJ shark Trevs and Andrew with104cm PJ Edited July 25, 2006 by penguin

James
those port jacksons are ugly and probably the worst thing that can end up on your line. anyway enough said on port jacksons, well done on those trevally. my rules after seeing a pod of dolphins come through my fishing area is pack up and head in the oppposite direction. they tend to scare everything away excluding those putrid ports

streve
The PJ's must be on drugs...........thats the way they fight. Nice bunch of trevs. hopefully the weekend weather will permit me to get the boat wet. When i see a catch like that it inspires me to have a go.
