Fishing In South Korea

Just wondering if anyone has done any fishing in South Korea, in particular around Seoul or Incheon?

I am heading there to visit my wifes family in April, and was wondering if there is any good fishing to be had there.

Hi Milts,

If you have fished in Australia, you would not even look at the fishing in korea. Some of the funniest fishing scenes i've seen in korea involve people fishing in underground basements!!! These basements have a swimming pool filled with fish that people try to catch.

I guess you would be better served with spending your time enjoying the other activities available in korea.

I'm korean by the way.

Yeah good idea. Leave the gear at home.

However, they do sell very cheap terminal gear. ie line, hooks etc. of the smaller variety.
