keenas
Mate, what a fish !!!! Great job on landing such a rare beast and on a humble pillie, well done. ( I think a few years ago a guy in the hawkesbury did the same thing on a fish around 90lb??) it won"t happen again .
Penguin
Penguin I am saying exactly that. There were 825 hits on this post at 6pm, whilst there were only around 30 raiders logged in. You do the maths. A lot of non-members visit this site too. The last thing I want is 825 guys on my ground tomorrow morning if I caught it. But if you sent me a personal message, and given that someone like yourself shares plenty of info with us, I would be more than happy to let you know. If it were me that is. But it wasn't , so like you I can only dream of getting that illusive monster jew. No mallice intended. regards Davo I wasnt sure how to read your reply to post thats all. I was thinking along the same lines as u. What I was gettin at was that its good to add the story that goes along with the capture of such a great fish, and its ok to tell this story without giving away the exact location.Im happy to hear what waterway a fish was caught in,thats close enough for me,if the original poster wants to be more precise and divulge the exact location then thats fine too. You also have to remember to that out of those 825 hits, some will be from raiders re-visiting the post to see if the story was put up yet,I came back to it at least 8 times. DaveD
Excellent catch mate. I guess that's what happens when people end up doing the right thing and putting the little jews back in the water if they catch em, as with any other species. You get great stories like this and remarkable levels of happiness. Good on ya mate
