trentski
I haven't fished there for years but when I did I caught bream. My brother caught a big wobbegong there on a jewie head that we'd caught earlier that week and then a big port jackson on the same bait. I have seen some big blue groper and blackfish swimming past but never targetted them. Never heard or seen any kingies there but I would think there's enough depth and structure there to bring them in. You might want to balloon a live bait out into the deeper water. Call into FOW and ask the guys, they should be able to tell you if you can get kingies there. South Curl Curl might be a better place to target kingies. southerly
Hi Trentski, Kings do pass by and it is possible to live bait of the ledge around from the pool, it has been used as a 'desperates' LBG spot for years, for some reason Harbord seems more productive, though it is also shallow. Yakkas can be caught on site. If you put in the time you would get a king from there. The drummer fishing in the washes can be very good at times. Be careful it wipes out in any sort of swell and a NE swell is nasty at any size. Southerly
