houmous2001 Posted March 23, 2007 Share Posted March 23, 2007 (edited) Hi guys, Had a sudden urge on Thurs night to go out for a fish, so i quickly grabbed my rods threw them in the car and headed to the spit to get some squid..... I got to the spit and realised i had brought my bait reels but not the rods .. damnn lol.... i quickly improvised and used the spools as handlines and in the matter of 15mins caught 3 squid and rushed off to catch the tides... I got to north curl curl at 12midnight and in the matter of 5 mins had my lines out ...lol i was rushing ... i sat back and watched ,,, then in no less than 30 seconds from sitting down my rod screamed off .... wohooo a 7kg jewfish ... first cast not bad ay ... second rod .... screams ... 5 mins later i land a 9kg bronze third rod ... my biggets tailor so far... it weighed 2kg So three baits three fish .. i was wrapped and headed home... not bad ay P.S how do i post pics here ... sorry about the delay ... here are some pics http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w103/ji...Photo-0017A.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w103/ji...Photo-0014A.jpg Edited March 28, 2007 by Jewiejoe Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yeah i tried not to pin point the exact spot i was at so i did have a huge crowd there next week and annoy the locals lol i will call ya next time for sure though ...
