Where Do I Find Squid In The Haweksbery River And/or Botany Bay?

Hi all i was hoping of getting down to the haweksbry river and chase some Jews, i was curious if any1 knew where was a suitable place to chase these things, also where could squid be found in Botany?

hey mate squid grounds seem to be sacred as a jewie spot, dont know why as the squid are around in huge numbers. anyway i reckon ud be a good chance at west head near the shorline in the hawlesbury or just outside infront of barrenjoey headland.

in botany bare island is worth a try the end of the container wall at moll point where it meets the snady beach.

Anywhere there is ribbonweed can produce squids, particularly near headlands. That said I have caught squid while drifting between lion island and F&Steel, also in the upper reches of Jerusalem bay.
