Penguin
Hi every1, Hit the bay this morn with my 2 fishin buddies, After leaving the ramp we crossed paths with Crazy John and his crew who were downrigging squid around one of the markers. John offered us one of his squid which we gladly accepted(thanks John) We stripped the squid up as we watched johns crew land a couple of nice Kings. We set up our dr and proceeded to the next marker,1st pass, we get a solid run on the squid head but the fish pulled the hooks next to the boat. We whacked on a strip and got a few taps then zzzzzzzz but he let go immediately. Several passes later and nothing comes near our squid,Crazy john motors over to us and tells us all has gone quite for him as well . We set off for some free floating and bottom bouncing action. Moll pt was dead not a touch,Drums next, dead a big fat zero. Then over to old faithfull ,the 3rd runway, there were plenty of boats around (doesnt any1 work on Thurs) Was dead for awhile then we caught a few fish mostly Trevs, biggest Trev was a beauty of 47cm and didnt he pull hard,we also got 2 keeper bream,a Flounder and a nice 68cm King,We went over to Kurnell for a feed then called it quits. All fish were caught on Prawns and pillie pieces, the fresh caught squid didnt get a bite after we stopped using the dr. penguin Bill with the King Our take home catch Edited May 3, 2007 by penguin

Flattieman
Another great bag, mate. I've come to expect nothing less nowadays! I just love floating prawns down a fine berley trail for trevs, bream & kings - the line really moves when you get one on! 10/10 for the arrangement. Lovely trev, too. Flattieman.
