Garth0_7
A quick and tasty one for the family and freinds. Ingredients Tuna steaks approx 1 inch thick. large onion finley chopped, 3 cloves garlic finely chopped & 1 crushed, tined crushed tomatoes, Black olives no seeds, squirt of lemon juice, 150ml of water. Method preheat oven 180c Seal steaks on both sides in fry pan with dash of olive oil and one clove of crushed garlic. Remove and place to one side. Place oil out of pan into saucepan and add a little more oil, saute onion and garlic until soft. Add rest of ingrediants cover and simmer for 5 to 10 mins. Place steaks in oven baking dish pour sauce over steaks, cover and bake for 20 to 25 min. Serve over short pasta and sprinkle with freash basil. You will be the king or queen. Nice red will lift the moment. You can use marlin instead of tuna just as good if not better.
Tony Soprano
That sounds awesome mate. I'll have to give it a go sometime, when I finally get to have a crack at a tuna...
