locodave
Has anyone tried any fishing arround their? Around the Water Police area? I used to go down their during my lunch breaks when I used to work there and I could always see fish feeding of the weeds their. Just curious

luderick -angler
locodave, the area you refer to is the old MSB depot and i used to do very well there for the blackies. In general Balmain will provide you with most species, try these spots for allround bags take a two rod approach (one for blackies and one for bream/ flatties/ trevs) Peacock Point comfy allround spot, Simmons Point legendary spot but hard to fish very open and tide races here, Thames Street wharf and the old container berth great allround spot big bream at night great for flatties and the odd jew. Try these out also use your UBD and look for little reserves that front the shoreline you will surprise yourself on the amount of spots you will come across that you can have to yourself and catch 40 to 50lb jew (thats one i'll keep to myself!)
