Has anyone been having much luck on the nepean with lures? Have been on a few outings of late in the tinnie, with out much success. I have heard of some success up stream, yet to head up that way though. have caught a few real smallbass down stream.

How far up the gorge? one photo there looks just inside the narrows on the right hand side, is this correct? Or are the bass much further up?

Id start just before the narrows and work my way up, if you get the chance id use some R2S vibes in a gold colour.

It might help if you can tell us what time of the day you have been targeting them, also waht type of outfit you are using and such, cheers Justin.

Justin all the fishing ive been doing is early morning sessions .... can only start when the ramp gates open id start ealier if i had a key .

As for the gear 4 to 6lb fireline with a 6 to 8lb leader, mono if your using topwater and flurocarbon for spinnerbaits and jackall/vibes.

I only use spinning gear no overheads with a 6"10 IMZ rod or the good old Chopstix.
