Dusky_Chaser
Hey guys. I have been chasing a picture on some other sites for a while now. Thought maybe someone on here might be able to help me out. I am looking for a photo of a genuine 1 meter croc on a bragmat or next to a tape. Many claim to have caught one on other sites but no one has come up with conclusive proof. Anyone help me out??? As this is my first post I will tell you that I am a Dusky Freak. Love chasing them and nothing gets my knees knocking like a big flathead. Heres a few pics of some of my better fish. Close but no cigar. Dreamtime
WOW Magic indeed, those photos are truly amazing. You are one lucky man to have had the priveledge of catching monster crocs on more than one occasion. What were they caught on, and where??? Davemmm
They are absolute beautys!! I hope you can bring more like that to the site. I've cracked 91cm in Woolooware Bay so I can imagine what a 1m job is like but thats all I can do is imagine. The only metre ones I have heard of were both at Tuross Heads. A bloke I know saw a bloke he knows sort of storys. Theres enough members on this site for one of them to know someone with proof. Dave
yakfishing
I hear you mate, theres nothin like seeing the dark shape of big lizard emerge from the murky depths. Im still trying for something like those beasts tho, and a metre is just a pipe dream. Well done mate

mattycoss
This fish was measured by a member and quoted at 102 cms why kill a flathead that big; awesome catch dont get me wrong, but when they're that big they're not even supposed to taste like anything special and in my opinion would be way better off being allowed back in to breed and keep the numbers up just seems a waste good catch though, is an amazing fish

The angler said it was released and swam away. Thats all there is to be said on this subject Admin
Dusky_Chaser
Thanks guys. Not st george basin. Cant give away secret locations but 1 of em came from close to hodgeys avatar. Shhh hodgey This fish was measured by a member and quoted at 102 cms Very Nice fish. Certainly would reccomend cradling the big girls if you plan to release them. When they start to get some weight behind them, its alot of stress on their bodies out of water to hold them out in front of you with one hand. JMHO 102cm Hopefully someone has a metery on a mat or tape and can post it for us. In any case post up your biggest frogs. Cant ever see too many of them. Cheers Scott Edited November 13, 2008 by Dusky_Chaser
