apparently there are some good kings hanging around at the banks at the moment. A few mates were down last weekend and were getting double hookups for hours on end sunday but heaps of rats even on bigger baits. the water's warm and theres heaps of bait around out there so good chance of bigger kings or even a marlin. they hooked up to one out there but a boat ran over the line and busted em off. good luck.

Any reports of kings out the banks or just the marlin?

Looking to head down on thursday/friday and hoping to get onto a few nice kings if nothing else!

Gday Lennon.

I went out two weeks ago and after hooking sharks and marlin we had a lot of rats 60cm eating 40cm livies. We also pulled a few in the 80cm range but the sounder was showing a few bigger ones about.

Good luck. Adam.

Thanks for your updates boys but unfortunately we ran into some serious boat issues (my mate managed to rip the roof off his new barcrusher and take the windscreen and steering with it) and didn't even get to hit the water!

Everyone says things come in 3's. First trip to the banks didn't get out because of the weather, second trip got struck down by some major food poisoning and didn't end up getting out and now this! lets hope trip number 4 is more successful! haha
