Nice haul!

Why do you bleed them out through the top? I've never seen that before, is it only for blackfish?

hi joel

normally i keep them alive in a keeper net in a rock pool until i finish fishing then off with the heads and guts but this morning it was too rough and could not get near the rock pools so on the beach its better to bleed them as you catch them just like a tailor

Great stuff there Luderick59...I'm not too far away from finishing my current project then I'm hopping in the car and coming to spy on you...I'm only 5 minutes away from MV by car...to catch those off the beach is awesome...I want to see it with my own eyes...

Has anyone ever tried for them at or near the Roseville Bridge ?

Amazing stuff - Is there a drop off, rocks or weed beds in front of the beach?

Excellent catch and they do look well conditioned.

Well done

Mariner

no ,he didn't bleeeeeeed them he just killed them first! by cutting the neck. moron............

nothing unusual but very quick for the fish sake. no torture and better taste anyway.

things we do in europe by law since 30 years!

wake up Australia!

WTF?

A little harsh isn't it, I guess we are not as clever as you then.

Sorry for breathing.

hi mariner

theres rocks out in front of beach and a nice gutter in between with scattered boulders weed and cabbage pour through here with rough seas and rising tides

Is the water "busy" - (breaking, frothing) or is it flat?

I'm just wondering how you notice the downs on a beach.

Thanks for the info
