robeebee
haven't posted a report in a while , sorry folks , been a bit lazy Dad and me have been fishing regularly with mixed results one highlight was a few weeks ago , I took a bloke from England out took him for a couple of landbased sesions first to teach him about sp's then on the boat for a go at bream on the Georges well , didn't he show me up , 2 good Bream , a trevor and a dropped flattie at the boat glad in a way 'cause you couldn't wipe the smile off his face anyway ,on to today I was using turtleback worms on my 3 pound set up and dad on his 6 pound we hit our mark and we were both on first casts dad with a 50 cm flattie and me with chopper soon after i land a good breambo the bite was hot and every cast was either a fish or a missed hook-up we came in close to shore and i get a big hook up , plenty of weight , big flattie ? the fish is hanging in the current and playing the waiting game get it near the boat and it takes a run ,dad calls it for a Jew I was nervous as I had only landed one Jew in my time , and that was on 6 pound finally get it near the boat and Dad is right , couple of missed net shots later and its in the boat 67 cms on 3 pound and i'm chuffed Dad changes to a blade and gets stuck into the bream some good ones too like this 39 cm model we both land more bream and flatties ending up putting back loads of fish , only keeping a feed near the end of our trip I get another solid hookup , could it be ?????? yes another Jewie , a bit smaller this one so it went back , we had enough fish anyway 2 jew on sp's , daytime = stoked my bag and the total

DarkHorse
Awesome catches! Boy I would love to come fishing with you guys. The biggest Bream I have caught was pushing 20cm! Would love to get shown the ropes by the pro's like you Robeebee, SwordFisherman etc. I havent fished the Georges river yet, wouldnt have any idea where to launch or drop a line (nudge nudge wink wink ) Keep posting pics so we can dream and smile with envy. Hodgey
Another crackin' session with your dad mate. Great stuff! You and your bloody turtlebacks ... how many different species do you reckon you've caught on those things now? Tremendous effort landing the jewy on the ultra light stuff Rob and that breambo of your Dad's is a beauty! Cheers Hodgey
