Juzza
Iv been fishing off close to my house, (meadow bank area)...flicking plastics...well truthfully only 1 sort of plastic the old faithful squigie =D. 80mm. 2 days ago, i caught my first flattie that went 36cm!!! Yesterday, i caught my first bream that went 32cm!!! Twitch twtich....wait....lift.......wait...tap tap tap!!! In that session i had a monster of a hookup which felt like a bream and with more weight than the first, except the hooks pulled before i got to see it. You know how that was hooked, i was reeling it in at a slow pace and felt the smallest of taps. Then i let the plastic drop to the bottom, with one final twtich it got smashed! Well..i have to say using plastics are quite fun =]..gets my adrenaline working and its as if im hunting the fish . After a few snaps the fish were released. Stacer560
I would say no its not too safe... no offence but after hearing whats wrong with the soil at Rhodes area thats gone into the water there.. if the toxins are as bad as they say, heaven knows whats been dumped in Parra River... He did release them anyway

arpie
Well done, Justin!! Terrific results!! There will be no stopping you now! Good fish! Shame the whopper got off!!! Either a big flattie or breambo, I reckon!! The best thing is, no smelly bait - just leave some sps & rod in the car & you are ready to go .... anywhere!!!
