A Week Of Many Firsts

Iv been fishing off close to my house, (meadow bank area)...flicking plastics...well truthfully only 1 sort of plastic the old faithful squigie =D. 80mm.

2 days ago, i caught my first flattie that went 36cm!!!

Yesterday, i caught my first bream that went 32cm!!!

Twitch twtich....wait....lift.......wait...tap tap tap!!!

In that session i had a monster of a hookup which felt like a bream and with more weight than the first, except the hooks pulled before i got to see it. You know how that was hooked, i was reeling it in at a slow pace and felt the smallest of taps. Then i let the plastic drop to the bottom, with one final twtich it got smashed!

Well..i have to say using plastics are quite fun =]..gets my adrenaline working and its as if im hunting the fish :biggrin2: . After a few snaps the fish were released.

Well done, Justin!! Terrific results!! There will be no stopping you now! Good fish! Shame the whopper got off!!! Either a big flattie or breambo, I reckon!!

The best thing is, no smelly bait - just leave some sps & rod in the car & you are ready to go .... anywhere!!!

Cheerio
