Went for a beach fish this morning for a big donut. :1badmood:

Nothing on the high tide at all at Nth Narra.

Decided to hit the back of the lake to chase some flatties on poddies again.

Found a nest of 'em and managed to land 5 of 'em in 20 mins and busted off twice by a couple of crocs.

Here's the biggest this morning at 60cm

She was almost jet black from living in the weedbeds.

All fish returned today.

Cheers,

Pete.

No mate,fresh prawns and whitebait.

Couldn't rustle up any poddies earlier on.

Found heaps when the sun came up.

Nice work Pete, the flatties down there really love little mullet, can't begin to imagine how many you would get if you flicked plastics around..

Congrats buddy , good session

Well done, Pete - glad you got into some good flatchaps! Shame about the bustoffs, but it still would have been fun, eh??

I've rarely caught flatties on any beach!! Then I watch other people catch a croc on their first toss out!!! :1badmood:

Any day fishing has to be better than any day not fishing .... even if you don't catch all the time!

Cheerio

Nice work!

Had couple sessions a few weeks ago in Narra Lakes on SP's.... landed 5-6 each session, however all were only in the 40-45cm range.... (all released to get bigger!!!);

Good effort on the flathead in Narrabeen yesterday Peter, it's nice to see you looking so fit and trim these days and getting among some good flathead up there and even dressing like a pro too

Cheers

I went down to the same spot at the same time this morning and could hardly lose a poddy.

One undersize flatty was all.

And yep..the barometer was down to 1007

Had a lot to do with it I'm positive.

As to the fishing getup..I look like the monster from the black lagoon..and smell worse :fart:
