Aerobatic Dolphins Off The Royal National Park

These dolphin photos were taken last Saturday off the Royal National Park.

(To see the my "fishing report" click here)

The dolphins were jumping and diving all around us for about an hour.

It was an amazing sight I'll never forget.

They were also the biggest dolphins I'd ever seen.

Awesome photos. It's one thing being in the right place to find them... its another altogether to be able to catch that sort of action on a camera. Mind you, you get out there often enough so that maybe you've got them trained??? :biggrin2:

Love it.

Cheers, Slinky

Roberta, I remember a fantastic photo you put in post showing a dolphin jumping very close to you at South West Rocks a few years ago. After a bit of searching I eventually found it!

Amazing picture!!

I also saw some dolphins last January at South West Rocks in near perfect conditions. The water was like glass! The dolphins swam around the boat for ages.
