james7
These dolphin photos were taken last Saturday off the Royal National Park. (To see the my "fishing report" click here) The dolphins were jumping and diving all around us for about an hour. It was an amazing sight I'll never forget. They were also the biggest dolphins I'd ever seen. Click on each image to see them full size. Cheers Peter Edited May 30, 2010 by peterS

slinkymalinky
Awesome photos. It's one thing being in the right place to find them... its another altogether to be able to catch that sort of action on a camera. Mind you, you get out there often enough so that maybe you've got them trained??? Love it. Cheers, Slinky

(once I got over the fright of one jumping behind my back when I was out yakking one day!!!)Roberta Roberta, I remember a fantastic photo you put in post showing a dolphin jumping very close to you at South West Rocks a few years ago. After a bit of searching I eventually found it! Amazing picture!! (If you want to see Roberta's original post - "Fishing SWR For The Last 9 Days - What a blast", click here) I also saw some dolphins last January at South West Rocks in near perfect conditions. The water was like glass! The dolphins swam around the boat for ages. (Click on each photo to see them full size) Cheers Peter
