How Much Time Do You Spend In Fr?

After my wife pointing out that every time she sees me, I am on Fishraider reading something, I realized that I spend waaay too much time on this board. Just wondering, is it me, or do other people find themselves, checking Fishraider forums in the morning, during work, afternoon, evening? Am I loosing it or too much time on my hands?? :1prop:

My :wife: thinks the same thing.

So now I quickly change screens when I hear her walking near the computer. Sometimes Im not fast enough and she sees me making the change. Now she thinks that I am looking at porn instead of FR. :074:

If I gave you the statistics on unique hits and average stay on site you would be amazed. There are people that are logged in here day and night (apart from me and swordie) I am also seeing that they are logging in on iphones, ipods and all manner of devices.

I sit in the train each day and see people logging in on laptops and have a little laugh to myself biggrin2.gif

Fishraider is the most popular fishing forum in Oz I reckon and its all about our great members who share info and help each other.

Make sure that you spend time with the family too though, please!!!

I must admit that when I get 5 minutes at work I log in to see whats going on & when I m sitting around on weekends waiting on kids I log in with my Blackberry! All I seem to do is talk with my customers about fishing & look at boats & visit tackle shops & spend WAY TOO MUCH !!!! :074: :074: AM I addicted? - HELL YES lucky I have mrs flightmanager to lean on (cause she is as bad as me) :1prop:

Cure could be you could pack up and go fishing ?????:1prop::tease: but the problem being, once you got back, you would simply log back in and tell everyone about the days catch!!

Seems like a short term fix..................... :074:

I think we are all guilty!!! I was even checking it twice a day when I was overseas...

and yes well I hope my boss is not on FR but I leave it on all day at work and refresh it when I have a spare minute.

As for the Mrs well she is overseas ATM but when she is here she gets a little unhappy but hey there are much worse thing's we Raiders could be getting up to..

Have a Great Weekend Raiders and Enjoy the Social I would love to join in on the Fun but ill be tied up with Family Commitments but hoping to find some

time to slip out for a test run if all goes well!!!!!

Regards,

Nathan

when the wife complains to me i just ask her .....nicely..? Well you are on farmville all the time on Facebook? biggrin2.gif

Yes I understand this problem Sean. Swordie had to choose between Farmtown/Farmville and fishraider. He had several farms and our whole life revolved around reaping harvests and getting a mansion!!!!!!

Lucky he chose me and fishraider thumbup.gif074.gif

Seriously, please make sure you do not spend too much time on here. The problem with fishraider is that it is very active and posts change by the minute across all areas. Other fishing forums are lucky to get much change each day with only one or two fishing reports or threads of guys just arguing or talking rubbish.

Our content on fishraider is diverse and plentiful.

Get your wives to join us here. It is a safe place where they will not find any offensive behaviours and will be treated with respect.

Perhaps I need to make an Oceanville section or Marinaville where you can go buy boats and upgrade. Lureville would be a big hit too heh heh.

Good thought there Donna, then we would never be off Fishraider. Hahahaha.

Every time I sit down at the computer, be it at home or at work, the first thing I do is log into Fishraider. I may not post much, but I am always reading the many posts.

One of these days Dusky and I will take the boat out and have a fatastic story to tell. Luckily he and I share the same interests. (fishing, fishing and more fishing).

Cheers

Cath

I too am a FR freak, I am constantly on here. Morning, during class, after class, night time weekends.

My Wife says I have a one tracked mind- yer! I agree, its all about the fishing.

If Im not here then Im checking weather, tying new leaders and making up new rigs, or talking to mate organising our next session...

When am not doing that I habit the web's multitude of interesting internet fishing sites (and there are a lot).

Fishing isnt a matter of life and death, its way more important! - this is my new motto, lol

Tight lines

I'm addicted too but probably only as addicted as my wife is to facebook, so I reckon if we had to put it into a mathematical equation it would be quite simple...... if facebook hours - fishraider hours = nil then it will result in a Happy Marriage.....But above all happy wife = happy life....

That still doesn't stop me from racking up enormous work mobile bills speaking with Coyote to and from work more often than not...average 15 to 20 mins with 90% of the conversation reflecting, planning, wishing or scheming all things fishy.

No wonder both our wives refer to the pair of us as the 'second wife'!!!!!
