Arrived about 7am to find a couple of Asian gents well into the pigs in a corner gutter. I tried my usual spot but the swell was up too much so I joined the lads and they fitted me in a tight spot with them. They continued to pull some top pigs and after they left, I managed a few with the best going 50cm. I was using banana prawn pieces and the others were using tiny school prawns. I misplaced my usual reel loaded with 30lb and wound some 20lb Vanish onto a lighter Alvey of mine. It was hard to handle as the line kept coiling off the reel. Does anyone have any suggestions for the best mono to use on 2kg + pigs? I'll enjoys tucking into a feast of drummer fillets tomorrow night!
