Kosta1
Hey guys, i was bored in my garage this weekend thinking of what i can do, and i decided to make a rod holder for my rods in the garage. I cut slits into a peice of wood for the rod to slip into and used two brackets to fix it to the wall. Although i was just thinking about it, and i was just wondering whether the guides on the rods will be alrite. Their is not alot of weight on them but just wanted to see what you guys have to say. Cheers
Guest rzep
Hey Costa, There is nothing like doing some handiwork in the garage. Do you have the rods being supported on their guides? Holding the weight of the rod and reels? If that is the case I would not think that this would be a good idea. I would go back to the drawing board. kingky
Gday Kosta, looks great mate but i too wouldnt hang them off straight off the guides. Id maybe adjust the height and perhaps u could place it at a height where just the actual rods can be placed in the grooves without interfering with the guides and possibly use a hockey strap or something to keep them from falling forward? Just a thought...
pinta_bay_pirates
You can buy these from a well known boat store... They are use for storing rods on boats...
