Could you walk me through what rigs and bait you used? I caught a 45cm drummer in around swimming pool 2months ago. Very strange that only that week is on fire. I try another 2 weeks waiting drummer in the same place, but catch nth. I normally use float and prawns as bait. Could you walk me through what rigs and bait you used? I normally look for days with 1m to 1.8m swell and overcast if possible. I fish on about 2hrs before the high tide with finely meshed burley. Rig is simple ball sinker (size 0 or 1) to hook (sizes 2 to 3/0), 18 to 25 lb line. Sinker size may be upgraded to depends on current. I cast into the washes.
