General Zod
hi all. I needed some more storage on my small boat, went to the shops and couldn't find a long enough side storage box so i went to bunnings and brought all the stuff there and made it myself. Cost me around $70. Edited April 30, 2012 by General Zod

General Zod
Can you post up a pic when u have them installed in the boat as well. thanks It use to be the rod holder area but i moved the rods the the other side. I couldnt put this on the other side because had the cables in the way but it was ok for the rod holders. And now i can put heaps of s^*# in there. Im going to add a light across the bottom so it lights up the back area of the boat. Ill place some pics when done. cheers

I got the strip led, but then i wanted more light so i added the other small but powerfull led light on the other side. Still need to tidy up the wires though. very happy with the result. Led strip is about 6 watts, 180 lumens, not sure about the other one but about 200 lumens as it seems brighter, just.
fishon
Should of put them under your gunwales with a dimmer bro dont they blind you at night? Edited April 30, 2012 by fishon
General Zod
Should of put them under your gunwales with a dimmer bro dont they blind you at night? I did, but the light wasn't strong enough for me. The small one is under the gunwale sort off because that one was the strong one, that one blinds me, but the longer light isnt that strong so it doesn't blind me at night, In fact I want more light, i must be getting old I suppose. I turn the long one off when driving though. Dimmer would of been good. Cheers Edited May 11, 2012 by General Zod
