Ray and Hutcho Brisbane waters

:biggrin2: G'day Raiders, been a while since Hutcho and I have been out for a fish in The Brisbane Waters.

Anyway we went around to Lobster to find some bream and flatties armed with pillies and plastic.

We nestled into one of our spots and found plenty of small bream around the 23-26cm mark, nice little fish

but a bit small as we wanted something a touch bigger.

So we fished on and eventually scored a couple of bigger fish so into the esky they went.

We were just about to up anchor when on the final bait leapt a salmon, this was the best fight of the day,

he jumped around and lead me around the boat, Hutcho grabbed a couple of leaping shots, flared gills and

thrashing tail, was a spectacular display, anyway we finally got him to the net and was promptly released.

So from here we driftrd around for a bit for a couple of small flatties on both plastic and pilly strips and

another little bream.

Stopped and anchored in another fishy looking spot and Hutcho got a nice flattie and a blue swimmer crab,

another couple of smallish bream and one about 30cms, then we pulled up stumps and headed home.

A nice day out with Hutcho and his Quintrex coast runner, will be out for more again soon.

Enjoy these few pics af the day..

Salmon battle.
