outdoordan
Not a bad first fish for the 2012/13 season. I'm going to have to remember a decent camera one of these days. The cam on my phone just doesn't do the fish justice. She went 52cm to the fork and 55cm total length.

Heath R
Nice fish mate That is one big healthy looking bass Must have been in a good paddock What lure did she take
outdoordan
good paddock? Try filthy sesspool... She fell to a bett's spin blade with 2" appleseed grub. The lure of choice for the sub 30cm fish the system usually produces. I had no idea this calibre of fish still swam these waters. She was released unharmed to continue to contribute to the population.
paul.kenny
What an absolute cracker of a wild bass and good onya for releasing it. I assume it gave a good account of itself and wasn't too sluggish in the cool water.....gotta love the bass.

Dave_
The Bass fishos in the know get them 60cm and over fairly regularly in Glenbawn dam. These are the biggest Bass I know of. They also grow huge in the wild in the Clarence Gorge area.
