DeanFish Posted September 29, 2012 Share Posted September 29, 2012 Headed into Middle Harbour this morning with my family and took the opportunity to throw the rod in the boot. Armed with 14lb line, 25lb leader, a standard running sinker (size of a 5c piece) to a swivel and a 2 hook gang i threw on a full pilchard and let her rip. It was about 12.30pm, 1 hour prior to the bottom of the tide and second cast in the rod loads up and to my surprise there was a decent weight on the end of the line. Initially i had no idea what it was as it felt heavier than any flatty I had caught in the past. I have attached a picture of the result (Sorry about the poor picture).
