Pongrass18ft Posted January 13, 2013 Share Posted January 13, 2013 Hi Raiders Was out on Saturday wide of Botany with some mates chasing Marlin on lures. Trolled out past the Fads off Botany then off to the Twelve Mile then off to Browns and beyond for zeros. Stayed out wide to just after lunch before heading in with a Southerly that blew up strong but hopes were high. Managed to hook on in 80 fathoms to a Black Marlin which brought much joy and put up a great fight. Also managed another strike in closer in 70 fathoms not long after. I'm glad we stayed out even with the Southerly blowing us around, it was definately well worth it. Can't wait to get out there again.
