fisholb Posted March 17, 2013 Share Posted March 17, 2013 (edited) hi raiders. went fishing yesterday on my mates boat. got to d boat ramp around 6am n d carpark was almost full. on d water by 630am n started trolling all d way to palm beach. no takers so decided to head back to juno pt. plenty of rubbish in d water n about a million huge jellyfish. we used chicken pilchard mullet for bait. caught 3 flattys in 3hrs so decided to troll back to palm beach. half way we found a school of mack so we use metals n started spinning. only caught 2 in about 1hr. decided to head back n check out d bridge. stayed there for 2hrs. caught 3 bream n a baby jew. my 1st jew. finally after trying to catch one since 2010. after a quick pic gave it a kiss n told d fish ill come back when its bigger. back on d ramp around 3pm. it was an excellent day out specially for me. Target live yellowtail and live squid. Increases your hit rate thanks mate...we normaly catch some live bait but didnt have time yesterday... hopefully i can take home the next jew...
