REEF MAGIC CHARTERS
Well it finally happened. Boats yesterday tagged up to 20 fish & they were everywhere. Plenty more boats out today so will report later. Cheers Damo
Tim Mc
Typical luck for us lately, we were out on Tues and the water up the gibber was beautiful but no bait. Plenty of bait at the vee but most of the 6 boats there were having any joy. Gotta get out there again, who got the 20 Damo?. Cheers Tim

REEF MAGIC CHARTERS
We were out today & reports were very quiet. We went 2-1:0 up north. The water at the gibber wasn't great & red algae blooms pushed in in the afternoon with the temps dropping below 21. Apparently we did well to see a couple of fish. Cheers Damo
bunghead
I fished on mistress Monday Tuesday with not a lot of success at the vee Wednesday was the day at the gibber 40/30/20 for one boat while another watched on for 3/2/2 the fish are fussy at times so fishing light as you can is the best option but beware there are some 70kg plus models out there as well.fish are there it's just where? Rod Findlay
We fished Port yesterday in my 15 ft Haines called Murriweeni ... Started straight off little island water 20.5 green but full of Pilchards.... Headed to Gibber for tide change plenty of boats but no real action picked up and ran to seal rocks after an hour.... Raised little marlin that did not eat just after lunch...... Jumped off another sub 20 kg marlin after 5 jumps a little later. Around 4pm we spotted a large marlin we thought was over 80kg Black free feeding before we could get the spin rod in the fish nailed the bait on a 6500 Bait runner and a new prototype Zues jig rod by infinitely rods. First jump revealed the fish was closer to 120kg... Fought it for 50mins dragging us 5miles north released the fish in great condition called it 120-140kg.... Awesome day Wish we caught up to Damo earlier in the run home.... The 43 obrien is a great boat to follow leaving a nice clean hole in the water to travel in.
