craigbutcher
HI Raiders, Been some solid hoodlums off Sydney this week. Hard working finding squid, but every squid was stripped up and produced! Caught our bag limits of SAMSON fish and some HOODLUMS! On another note, me and my legend son have been chasing mullet in the lake for snapper baits! A lot of fun! craigbutcher
Are squid strips an effective bait on the downrigger? Good kings btw and love the irony of the hat! Not too bad on the downrigger, but better just anchored up with strips. Big bait = big fish, so sometimes you need to preserve through the rats with little strips, but Ive landed fish 110cm plus on strips. Lots
brunny23
Looking at Trolling/Downrigging xraps magnum 10's for reds off Bellambi in the gravel beds, have seen it work down in Port Phillip Bay. Anyone tried it up here with any success?
