Rah
G'day Raiders, Got a leave pass from work today so headed back down to the cooks, between tempe and marrickville this time. Arrived just before low tide and started chucking around the SP'S. First fish a Taylor? Not bad at just over 30cm a good fight in that one. Next was a decent bream also at about 30cm. After that a small flatty. I'd only moved about 20 metres up the bank. Had to go for a bit of a walk over to the Canoe club then. 2 casts and something was RUNNING. Had to walk up and down the wall a bit to keep him on and I was calling it for a stonker bream or a small jew. Flashes of silver and I haul up a 41cm trevally? This thing put up an awesome fight. Great fun. And a first for me. Followed by a few more small bream and plenty of snags and lost plastics. A wide range of plastics used. Slimswims in watermelon may have just caught a few more fish than others but the grubs and small paddle tail type did pretty good as well. 1/8th and 1/12th jig heads. Scratchie
Great work Tara! Once you get the hang of sp's, it becomes quiet addictive. It's also a great way to cover a large area LB. Look forward to the report of your first jew! Cheers scratchie!!!

Yowie
Good work Rah, a nice selection of fish, and it looks rather muddy up that way. Trevs can really fight hard - wait until they beat the 50cm mark.
