Scratchie
Welcome to Fishraider tommy! I would suggest to just use the search function in this site and type in hawkesbury and you'll come up with a wealth of information! Cheers scratchie!!!

big Neil
G'day Tommy and welcome to Fishraider. Pity you didn't get in a week earlier as you could have gone to the F/R Social day. Read about it in the posts. I'm an ex Pommie and been here for over 43 years. Love it, there's actually fish here and they seem to enjoy getting caught. Seriously, this is a fabulous site and don't be afraid to ask questions and use the search tools available. There's over 25000 members here and what they don't know about catching fish could be written in large print, on a pin head. We'll look forward to reading your posts. Good luck mate. Neil. NaClH2OK9
Hey Tommy. You'll be surprised how many of the UK practices are applicable here. Don't forget you'll need to swap the handle on any new reel over to the correct side though. :@) Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk
fredflathead
Hello Tommy, Where do you launch your boat for the hawkesbury? Dont worry about your boat being old I have a Caribeen Crest Cutter that is about 39yrs old and would not swap it all. I fish the hawkesbury all the time. Will be away this weekend pm if you need help on areas to fish in the Hawkesbury.

Adsy91
Hey Tommy! I'm guessing that you enjoyed fishing for carp in the UK so if you feel like giving it a go here I can give you some locations on the central coast which hold oriental koi carp. They are a pest here however and must not be returned to the water. Great fun to catch though and I must admit they are beautiful fish to look at Ads Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
