Compulsory LIFE JACKETS are to be worn Rock Fishing and will be in by December 2019. ( They hope ). The following Councils have decided. Central Coast, Lake MacQuarie Pt. Stephens. The signage is ready in ten different languages, all their waiting for is the ok from the NSW Government. There will be Radio and press advertising. Cheers.

Then again you could go the other way & get a manual inflated full jacket which you could remove the sleaves if desired, more exxy though but what is your life worth Those manual inflatable life jackets are crap! Aside from Probably not keeping your face above water if unconscious they expire. The new foam 100 models are much better

Anyway these are both of Australian standard & level 150 means acceptable for open water. Jim was actually asking about something suitable for rock fishing that wasnt bulky that wouldn't interfere with fishing. Just giving 2 examples of what thought would meet the criteria? Rebel
Hi, As I said before there is a waist life jacket made by Memace, 150N, AS4758 Approved. I wear one they are great and they don't get in the way. Cost around $60.00. Cheers.
