rickmarlin62 Posted April 14, 2018 Author Share Posted April 14, 2018 Went to the tuna spot jeff got two baits fed em out 1 longtail 10mins later only hit for three hrs then went lookin at my red mark lost another red bout 6kg at boatside this morn at sisters and kept getin bit off dont know if spotties or wot put wire on hooked red lost two foot from net gutted....got mack at north rock bait in water 2 mins crazy...rick 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I had no problem getting slimies at Cabbage Tree yesterday morning. I was the only boat there. I found them down deep but berley brought them up. Then the local estuary charter guy turned up, went in closer to the rocks, caught his bait and was gone in less than 5 minutes. Didn’t see any garfish.
